My original solution was to install a USB D-Link wireless.

I've also had a problem with my Atheros 5007 802.11b/g wireless adapter and a disabled HP quick launch button when I installed WIN 7 pro 64 bit OS. On the HP website I was only able to find drivers for Vista 32 bit (I have heard Vista 64 bitĭrivers would work, but the HP website links the Vista 32 bit driver for the 64 bit as well), and other sites such as the Atheros webpage don't have the drivers listed at all.Īny help finding the correct driver to use would be greatly appreciated.

I have Searched all over for drivers for my Atheros 5007 wireless card (I am currently using the Vista 32 bit driver), but have not found one for a 64 bit system. I have checked all of my connection settings and hardware settings, and I have made sure that there is not interference that may be causing it or other regular issues. This never happened until i upgraded to the 64 bit operating system. My download speeds are fine, but I keep getting bursts of upload Everything has been working great except my wireless connection, which I am thinking is a driver issue. I recently upgraded the operating system on my laptop from Vista 32 bit to Windows 7 64 bit.
